Lono can rest easy
It wasn't just the "and" that was excised from the provincial (ugh) brand:
The removal of the reference to the country which "Newfoundland Labrador" is in, brings the "cartage fee" down to a much more modest $111,111.11 per letter.

Hey Wallace:
If you visit the website for your home province, you see that their logo doesn't include "Canada" either...
Ontario
But it does appear in very small print on the last line.
They advertisie themselves as "Ontario" not "Province of Ontario" or "Ontario, Canada"...and they're over there in real Canada.
What gives? Is Dalton McGuinty trying to pull a fast one?

As opposed to fake Canada?
Where's fake Canada?

No idea.
I do know that the new Ontario trillium is dorky. But what can you expect from a dork like Dalton McWeiner.
Fake Canada? Sure, as far as the R.O.C. is concerned, NL is pseudo Canada, and the outer extremities.
Home is where the mail arrives, bro, and where you set your feet each morning definitely affects the mindset.
I get a slightly different perspective from days in St. John's, Goose, Lab West or Quebec City. I'm sure the same is true for the most of us.
Cheers,
Ward

I have no idea what you mean by that.
Home is where the mail arrives, bro,
"Home province" is the place you are from. Bro.
and where you set your feet each morning definitely affects the mindset.
Yip. Like the Townies who think St. John's is the "Capitol [sic] of Labrador", I guess.
