I blame Tom Rideout.I never heard this usage before Tom Rideout came along.Then it was all Tom Rideout saying, "it now bin 1:00, let's adjourn for the day", or "the new policy is bin considered by cabinet".And then it's bin used all across the province, from St. John's to the other side of St. John's.And then it's bin uttered by news announcers on the CBC, right after they play the latest separatist bit of fiddle-dee-dee.It's like the gerund or present participle of the verb "to be" is bin merged with its past participle.It annoys me, greatly.
