Kilbride Food Manufacturer to Export Snacks to Atlantic Canada

As if Kilbride isn't itself in Atlantic Canada?

Perhaps the headline was written by the same person who, in response to a media request for comment from the Premier while he was out of cell range in Nain, told the reporter he'd be available "when he gets back to the province."

Note that at no point in the press release does it indicate whether the money is a loan, a grant, or whatever. I guess they just hope we never ask.

Wow... Is that hearsay, what the premier said, or do you have it on the record? Because that is remarkable - and very telling.

Wasn't there a great quote during the St. Barbe or Strits/White Bay byelection a few years back which invloved looking across the water and asking "what's that?" Or did I just imagine that...

Not the Premier — he was in Nain or somewhere on the North Coast — but his press person, whoever it was at the time.

I am thinking it was 2004 or early 2005, but I also think I lost the email in a meltdown in which I vented about it, which would have provided a date. It may have been the August, 2004 trip documented photographically on the official website.

If you imagined it, then we are sharing an imagination. It was either a TV news report or, possibly, an article in the Downhomer.
