The bad news: they show it in the wrong place:

The blue line shows the highways in Labrador and neighbouring parts of Quebec, including the erroneously Google-straightened Phase III. The actual routing of Phase III, which meanders considerably farther south, is shown in red.
Also shown are the existing route 389-500 axis from Baie-Comeau to North West River (B-C), the coastal highway from Cartwright to Old Fort Bay (D-E) and the North Shore highway from Baie-Comeau to Natashquan (B-A).
The Lower North Shore gap remains as tantalizingly near, and far, as ever, even if it is now possible to drive, the long way, from Old Fort Bay and points east, to the rest of Quebec... via Labrador.
Bye, Cain. Come back when you find out who you are.
ReplyDeleteGood stuf Wally but something occured to me.
ReplyDeleteImagine what you could accomplish for your Party if you wrote articles on the opposition Conservatives in Ottawa; especially if you zeroed in on them like the rays of the Sun through a Magnifying Glass.
Don't get mad! Just a thought.
