He who shall not be gainsayed

Not surprising from the guy who once rushed out of a cabinet meeting, where, presumably, the highest political body in the province, or nation, or whatever, was sitting around attentively listening to Bill Rowe, in order that he might rebut a Nattering Nabob of Anti-NL Negativism before 4:00 hit, but here's the Great Man himself, first off rebutting Elvis on the last Nightline of the season:

One of the reasons I called tonight, is not only because it's your last night for the summer, but as I heard Elvis Loveless as I was, as I was driving and, you know, he was talking about, you know, we can't be at loggerheads with the federal government and we have to be at peace with them and everything else.
A heretical notion. Elvis must be contradicted before he gets a chance to contradict again.

And again from the Newfoundland Weekly Separatist:
Williams says Liberal MHA Yvonne Jones’ comment this week that the MOU is an election ploy “is the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard.”
Ouch.

“The most ridiculous statement I have ever heard”?

Coming from the guy who spouts tripe like this, that's nasty.

There's message managing.

There's message micro-managing.

And then there's Danny.

Not like he has a government to run or anything...
