Never too soon to play Blame Canada

Just seconds after asking for the patience of flooded-out Avalon residents in respect of the provincial government response to the disaster, Glorious Leader informs them that, among other actions DannyWilliamsAdministrationNewfoundlandLabrador will be doing is applying to federal disaster relief programs.

Glorious Leader then exhorts his adoring masses to impatience, at least where other governments are concerned, telling them that when it comes to disaster relief, "the federal government moves slowly, sometimes not at all, quite frankly."

What's preventing any of them from repairing all the flood damage with their members' allowances? To quote Tom Rideout et al, you certainly can't argue that it isn't a worthy cause.

Well you see, the provincial government works on a go-forward basis.

This is opposed to the federal government, which consumes small children.

Ergo, Danny is a saint and I think I've got to report you for seeming to imply otherwise.

...I suddenly feel an urge to call into VOCM and yell this at Bill Rowe repeatedly.
