This from a crowd of early-birds — 9:30 on Monday, 9:10 on Friday, 9:30 last Tuesday, 9:20, 8:30, etc. — who like to shovel their news out early and often, in order to better Inform The Public during the noon-hour private-sector broadcast, the online newspapers, and their next-day dead-tree editions.

Whatever can it mean, those days when the first despatches from ITAR-DAN don't come until a quarter after two in the afternoon?
