Farrerexia (II)
Farrerexia strikes again. This time it's the usually well-informed Linda Swain, in banter with a friendly caller, claiming:
We here in St. John’s are closer to London, England, than we are to Toronto. No, we are not.

She didn't really say that did she?
I hope you're kidding.
Your map there seems to show a flight from St. John's to London via Toronto. This doesn't address Linda Swain's incorrect statement at all.
The map does't show any "flights" at all, other than in the sense of a hypothetical great circle flight route. It is not a map showing schedule commercial flights, and isn't intended to be. Your criticism doesn't address anything at all.
And are you able to read numbers? If so, you will see the distance figures, which not just address, but refute, the incorrect statement.
Thare are many places in Canada - those from Regina west come to mind - which are farther from St. John's than London is. Toronto, being east of Regina, is not one of them.
Don't be so sensitive or insulting. I wasn't criticizing anything - I just misread the airport codes and didn't see how it made sense.
