MR. KELLY: Mr. Speaker, I am excited about the opportunity to participate in the management and growth of this Province. I am confident that the direction of our leader, Premier Williams, and his team, will result in long-term sustainable benefits for the people of Newfoundland and Labrador.

MS POTTLE: On September 28 of this year this government, under the leadership of Premier Williams, laid out the framework of a wide-ranging agreement with the Innu of Labrador.

In July, I had the opportunity to travel with Premier Williams to Conne River and partake in the 13th annual Miawpukek First Nation Powwow. The Miawpukek First Nation Powwow was recently recognized as one of twenty-nine significant Aboriginal tourism events by Aboriginal Tourism Canada.
