Insults

Oh. OK. So insults have gone back to being a bad thing, have they, ODP?

From the Ministry of Truth:
Dannies Go Head-to-Head

A former Member of the Board of Directors at Newfoundland Hydro calls the latest attempt to take Hydro Quebec to court a "newfie joke". On VOCM Open Line with Randy Simms Danny Dumaresque says we have little or no chance of winning a case to reopen the Upper Churchill contract. He accuses the Premier of abdicating his responsibility by passing the issue over to Ed Martin of Nalcor. He says there's no way a Quebec judge will throw a multi-billion dollar contract out the window based on a 1994 piece of legislation.

Premier Danny Williams calls the comments insulting.

Dumaresque is a fool and should get his facts straight before he starts running his mouth on the radio or anywhere else.

Since it is CFLCo and not the Govn of NL that is taking the legal action, Ed Martin has to take the lead on the matter. I'm sure if Williams could legally be involved he would be.

Tell your handlers to come up with more eloquent talking points.

I thought Danny didn't like personal attacks.

And how quaint: you think there is some distance between the Regime and NALCO and CFLCo. You still use the telegraph as well?

First off, please refrain from making petty comments eluding to the premise that I am an animal of sorts.

Secondly, I never said anything about there being any distance between Nalcor and the Government of NL. Dumaresque was making comments similiar to the ones made by Grimes previously on Open Line. The point I was trying to make is that in the public eye, Ed Martin, as president of CFLco, has to take the lead on the matter. For the obvious legal reasons Williams can not be out in the public as a representative of CFLco. In no way is Williams abdicating his responsibilities. Is that clear enough for you? Or are you going to make another obscure comment blended with petty insults to stray from my point?

Personal attacks? Dumaresque made a foolish comment. The same comment previously made by Grimes on open-line which was equally as idiotic. So when people go around making repetitive foolish and idiotic comments then sooner or later they become a fool and an idiot.

Are you reading the same sentence that I wrote?

Animals aren't the only things with "handlers". Perhaps someone who knows the difference between allude and elude might also know that.

For the obvious legal reasons Williams can not be out in the public as a representative of CFLco.

Yet, he jumps in front of any NALCO announcement that he thinks he might get good political mileage out of. Funny that.

So when people go around making repetitive foolish and idiotic comments then sooner or later they become a fool and an idiot.

Thank you for proving your own point. Now run along.
