Spreading the wealth
Lorraine Michael says that the wealth should be spread.
If she's looking for a model of wealth-spreading, look no further than Voisey's Bay: of the $250- to $300-million that the project generated for the provincial treasury in the latest fiscal year, where did that wealth get "spread" to? And how did it get so quickly spread out of Labrador entirely? Can anyone point to anything that the Voisey's Bay revenues have done for the Integral Part of the Province that Voisey's Bay happens to be in?
