Timely advice
"The Department of Human Resources, Labour and Employment, through its agreement with the Salvation Army for the provision of emergency social services, wishes to advise members of the public affected by the current power outage in the Bonavista area, that a hot food service is being provided this evening in the communities and surrounding areas."
Meanwhile, the "departments of Government Services and Health and Community Services advise the public in the Bonavista Peninsula region to be mindful of food safety during the power outage as a result of this weekend’s winter storm."
Just so we're clear here:
"The Department of Human Resources, Labour and Employment, through its agreement with the Salvation Army for the provision of emergency social services, wishes to advise members of the public affected by the current power outage in the Bonavista area, that a hot food service is being provided this evening in the communities and surrounding areas."
"The departments of Government Services and Health and Community Services advise the public in the Bonavista Peninsula region to be mindful of food safety during the power outage as a result of this weekend’s winter storm."
The departments.
Not the Ministers.
Interesting, how in a government where all politics is personal — intensely personal, it would seem — cabinet ministers will gladly put their name on partisan smears dolled up with a thin veneer of official-business lipstick... but three of them will not put their names on anything that has to do with the mess on the Bonavista Peninsula.
And, really: where is Danny?
