Williams Government (version française)

Tony Cornect doesn't seem to have a whole lot of ideas on the linguistic demographics of the province, especially as they affect the francophone community, but at least he's proud to be francophone and a Danny Williams supporter.

And, far be it from the anglo guy to correct le seul député francophone de la province, but "gouvernement Williams", without the preposition, is a far more idiomatic way of expressing the same cultish sentiment embodied in the English phrase "Williams Government".

"Gouvernement de Williams", at best, comes out sounding like a clutzy and unidiomatic "Williams's government", or, worse, "Government of Williams":
