Marshall Sees Hospital and Courthouse for Corner Brook

Humber East MHA Tom Marshall says his biggest priority for the new year is to move the new Western Memorial Regional Hospital project ahead. Parts of that facility are well over fifty years old. Budget 2008 included a commitment for planning and site selection for a new health care facility in Corner Brook and Marshall says site selection is underway. He says legislation governing autonomy at Sir Wilfred Grenfell College is another priority for the new year. Marshall says the new court house in Corner Brook should be complete by the fall.

Mrs. Corner Brook? Sorry to interrupt, ma'am. It's Labrador West on line one. He says it's something to do with "site selection for a new health care facility".

And heck, who knows? Maybe after Danny Williams-Government grants "autonomy" to Grenfell, they'll grant it to MUN as well.
