Better never than late (II)

James McLeod reports in Friday's Quebec Daily Newspaper:
The opposition has been asking questions about the pollution on the Abitibi site for several days. Jones complained Thursday that people from her office have not been given enough access to the environmental assessment rep-orts.

The 15,000 pages of documents have not been given to the Liberals; instead, a researcher has been invited to come to the Department of Environment offices to read the reports.

"We were not permitted to photocopy any of this information or take it out," Jones said. "I mean, we had to write everything by hand in terms of recording the information we needed."
