Kent is real good at the vacuous response that doesn't address the question. He recites them robotically.
Like here.
His reply worked when they were up in the polls but it no longer applies. Evidently the Tories are having trouble developing a new explanation for why they do what they do.
The longer they stick to the old lines, the worse the erosion of support will get.
