Negativity

When did "negative" become the latest N-word?

The Western Star editorializes:
If the Liberals and the NDP are to turn the numbers around, they will have to be critical of the government and its actions without appearing too negative.
In a parliamentary system, no matter how popular, for however flimsy the reasons, the government is, why should an opposition ever, for even one second, worry about being "too negative"?

Did the Star ever once have qualms about the "negativity" of Danny Williams when he and his opposition forces were on the other side of the aisle, not so long ago?

For that matter, did Danny and The Party ever once have such qualms?

No. They did not.
