New Fisheries Minister to be Appointed Soon

A new provincial fisheries minister will be appointed soon.Premier Danny Williams gave that indication over the weekend at the provincial Progressive Conservative Party Convention in Corner Brook. Trevor Taylor has been the acting minister since Tom Rideout's resignation in May. There may be other changes too. Williams says expect the announcement within two weeks. He says the federal election and the Innu negotiations have kept government pre-occupied.
