Word of the Day: Pfff
First in an occasional series. From a disappointingly unsigned news article which appeared on page A2 of the St. John's Telegram of September 3, 2009:
"My chief of staff informed Mr. Verge some time ago. He was informed, he did know," Williams told reporters Wednesday.
"I think now his explanation to us this morning is that he didn't understand that that's what it meant," said Williams, shrugging his shoulders and adding a "Pfff."
"Anyway, for what it's worth, he's entitled to his opinion."

You're not the only one lamenting the appearance of unsigned news articles.
Pity the poor soul at Confed Bldg who has to spend a Friday afternoon trying to figure out which purple folder it belongs in.
I am grateful to the unsigned reporter who put the “pfff” in writing. I was not aware it was a word. With a single “pfff” the Premier destroyed the credibility of the PC member and brought him in line. Now that’s power.
